 About the Forum

The primary focus of this forum is to:

  • Build visibility of current horticulture research across WA

  • Share the latest findings and insights from active projects

  • Create a collective understanding of who is doing what across organisations, commodities and regions

This shared awareness will then be used to:

  • Identify key gaps and emerging needs

  • Explore future research directions and opportunities

  • Highlight areas where greater collaboration may add value

The event will feature short presentations, question time, roundtable discussions and ample networking opportunities over morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, all included in the $45pp ticket price.

Call for Research Snapshot Presentations (EOI)

We are seeking researchers and project leads to present short snapshots of their work. By submitting an expression of interest (EOI), you’ll help us identify presenters, shape a well-rounded program, and develop pre-reading materials that support more informed and meaningful discussions on the day.

Themes include:

  • Production, productivity, biosecurity and climate resilience

  • Supply chain, market, consumer, sustainability, automation and adoption

Presentation format:

  • Short presentation (5 minutes)

  • Clear and accessible overview of your work

We are particularly interested in:

  • What your project is addressing

  • Key findings or insights so far

  • Relevance to WA horticulture

  • Any gaps or next questions emerging

To submit an EOI, please complete:
